What’s in YOUR water? Did you know that private water supplies like wells are unregulated? It is the responsibility of the homeowner to regularly test water quality, maintain the water system, and address any problems.

Affordable, confidential water testing and education will be offered through Virginia Cooperative Extension.

  • Pick up your kits on February 22nd or 23rd, at Va Cooperative Extension Office (200 West Main St. Louisa) from 8:30 am- 5:00 pm .

Participation is voluntary and confidential. Water samples collected will be analyzed for iron, manganese, fluoride, etc. at a cost of $60 per sample kit.

Results will be sent to each participant by mail or email, and a live video will be available to help explain the summary results and recommendations. All information is kept confidential.
