Beginner Pickleball Clinics

Would you like to learn the latest fitness craze taking over the country? Pickleball offers aerobic exercise, giving players the chance to move around on the court at any level of intensity they’d like. Since Pickleball moves at a slower pace than tennis, it’s easier on the joints while also improving balance, coordination and agility. Join instructor Kayla Johnson for these introductory clinics to learn the basic skills of Pickleball. She will teach you all about the equipment, rules, game play, scoring, strokes, serving, and game etiquette. Certified as an instructor by the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA). Discover why pickleball is so popular in Louisa! All equipment needed in these clinics will be provided. These clinics will take place outside on the tennis courts at Trevilians Elementary School, so be sure to bring drinking water to stay hydrated. The registration deadline is noon on the Friday before the clinic date.
