Active Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga which is done while sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. Chair Yoga can improve your flexibility, concentration and strength, while boosting your mood, and reducing stress and joint strain. The poses done are adaptations of asanas done in traditional yoga practices. Yoga is a practice not a perfect. Don't forget to bring your mat, towel, water bottle and your mask. Namaste. Due to COVID restrictions, there is a maximum of 9 students per class.

The guidelines and requirements below outline the operations of the Louisa County Parks, Recreation and Tourism indoor fitness programs until further notice.

Only full program registration available.

No Drop-In participation will be allowed.

Fitness Guidelines:

  • Participants must remain at least ten feet apart during all activities.
  • Instructors and all participants of fitness classes will follow social distancing as required by guidelines.
  • Hand sanitizing stations available.
  • Masks may be required and social distancing will be followed.
  • Facility will be disinfected before and after each class.
