    The Betty Queen Center is available for walking during January through April, 2018 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:45 AM - 8:00 AM. These are the only times the gym is available for walking during these Winter and Spring months; however, these hours are subject to change.

    Are you aged 21 or older and love playing billiards, but have no place to play? Come join the Cue Ball Billiards Club at the Betty Queen Center. The Teen Center is open most weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The cost is just $10 for membership for January through April 2018. Play pool and spend time socializing with others who love the game. Hey ladies...this club is NOT just for men! Everyone is welcome. Why not give it a try?

    Billiards fans...you can now come to the Betty Queen Center on Sundays and play pool in the Teen Center from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. These Sunday Billiards cost $2 each time you attend and are open to the general public ages 21 and older, as well as current Club members.

  4. Spring Break Camp

    Are you wondering what you are going to do with your children during Spring Break? We have an awesome week planned for the kids while you are at work! Our Spring Break Camp will give your child a full week of activities, including a variety of sports programs, cooking activities, crafts, movies, and outside play. We will also be taking a field trip (extra cost) on one of the days. Spring Break Camp is available to children in grades K through 5 and will be held at the Betty Queen Center on Monday, April 2nd through Friday, April 6th. Children may arrive as early as 6:30 a.m. and stay as late as 6:30 p.m. Parents must send a bag lunch each day (no food that needs to be heated, please). We will provide a morning and afternoon snack. The fee for the entire week is only $125. Additional siblings are $100. Register early as spaces fill up fast; we only have 35 spots available! Don’t miss this opportunity for a week of fun for your kids! Registration deadline is March 28th!

  5. Cardio Pump 'n Core Workout

    Start your mornings with MargaretAnne and her Cardio Pump ‘n Core Workout. You don’t need to spend hours sweating on a treadmill and lifting weights at the gym to reap the benefits of exercise. MargaretAnne will layer cardio fat-burning moves, sculpting, core focused exercises, weights and resistance training to improve your muscle tone, strength, and flexibility. No two classes are the same. Everyone is welcome ~ first-timers wanting to start an exercise routine to the advanced fitness person wanting to add to their daily exercise routine. MargaretAnne will make sure you sweat away those calories with a great workout. Join her for an hour of fitness fun and don’t forget to bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and towel. If you can’t commit to a full session, take as many classes as you’d like for the $8 drop in rate per class. There will be no class on January 12th, January 15th, and February 19th.

    This basket embodies the comforts of home in its design and usefulness. Woven with the Cherokee cross on a 10 inch wood base, this basket allows for plenty of room to dress a table at large gatherings; fits a standard dinner plate. It makes a great server for pies and other baked goods, fruit, or appetizers. You will have a choice of green or blue reed for the basket. Barbara Melnikov, of Lily & Reed will provide instruction and materials for this basket; beginners are welcome! Registration deadline is March 29th.

  7. Intermediate Dog Obedience

    This intermediate course is designed as a follow-up to the basic dog obedience class. Enhance your handling skills and your dog’s obedience skills through games, tricks, and fun competitions. Develop training methods to correct unwanted behaviors. The AKC Canine Good Citizen test will be offered after this course has been completed. All dogs must have up-to-date shot records. Sharon Jones, who has been training dogs for over 20 years, is the instructor.

    Develop balance, strength, flexibility, and stamina as well as increase mental alertness and de-stress with this alignment-based Rise & Shine Yoga class. Let instructor MargaretAnne invigorate you with uplifting yoga flows and poses and calm you with breathing and relaxation techniques. All levels of participants are welcome~from the person who has never taken a yoga class before to those already familiar with yoga. Bring a yoga mat and water bottle and join us for this class that allows you to focus on nothing but YOU. Drop-in rate of $9 is available if you cannot attend a full session.
