These are the only times the gym is available for walking during these Winter and Spring months; however, these hours are subject to change.

The Teen Center is open most weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The cost is just $10 for membership for January through April 2018. Play pool and spend time socializing with others who love the game. Hey ladies...this club is NOT just for men! Everyone is welcome. Why not give it a try?

MA's No-Low Impact Workout2018-01-02T08:15:00Join MargaretAnne in her No-Low Impact Workout! As we mature, our joints don’t like the impact and we begin to slow down. MargaretAnne has taken the best of all of the workouts available and modified them so anyone can do them~standing, using a chair for support, or sitting. This is not an easy workout by no means...you WILL sweat, you WILL work muscles in new ways, and MargaretAnne WILL encourage you to ensure you get the most out of each class and see those results - a stronger, leaner you! This class is for everyone, whether just beginning or wanting to try something new. Please wear supportive shoes (sneakers are ideal) and don’t forget to bring a yoga mat, water bottle and towel. If you can’t commit to a full session drop in to as many classes as you’d like for $8 per class.

As a result, you will improve your balance and core strength and reduce your fear of falling. This is a great class for first-timers, seniors, men and women wanting to improve their balance and flexibility or folks with arthritis, long-term health conditions, or those recovering from injuries or surgery. If you have difficulty getting up or down easily from the floor - this class is for you, too. All levels are welcome. Please wear supportive sneakers and bring a water bottle. If you can’t commit to a whole session, drop in to as many classes as you’d like for just $8 per class.

Played on a badminton court with the net dropped to 34 inches, the sport encompasses elements of tennis, racquetball, and ping pong. This program is open to adults~of any age! Limited equipment is available at no charge to help as you are introduced to the sport. We offer a drop-in rate of $2 each time you come to play or you can buy a punch pass good for 12 visits for only $20. Punch passes can only be purchased weekdays at the Betty Queen Center. Join us and discover this fun sport for yourself.

Stepped-Up Yoga2018-01-02T16:00:00Is it time to take your yogic journey a little farther...? Are you ready to focus on the subtle movements of the body? Join Donya Bauer, MA, E-RYT 500 for a deeper Yogic experience. This class is not just about harder poses; it is about fine-tuning and refining the asana (poses) practice. We will also explore some meditation and pranayama (breath work). Students need to have a basic understanding of yoga and a willingness to explore whatever their body might be ready for in this stepped-up version of Yoga. This class is limited to 10 students who will need to bring their yoga mat, blanket, and their strap to class. There is an $8 per class payment option available for those paying for less than 10 classes. Class meets each Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Henson Building. Come check it out! Visits may be used anytime within 6-months for any of Donya's classes.
