Aikido In Louisa

Even though summer is a time for outside play and less stressful routines, many children spend their time indoors and doing little else than watching TV and playing video games. Participating in Aikido gives kids the opportunity to not only build self confidence, but to add structure and physical activity to their summer.  Aikido is an excellent confidence booster for children, as it eliminates the need for them to compete or compare themselves to their peers. This program will help your child focus and improve their overall well-being; while also teaching discipline, respect, and empathy for others. As participants continue in the class, they will obtain belts based on the level they achieve. Open to children ages 6 through 12, Aikido is an on-going program which will continue throughout the year. Instructor Jeff Martin has over 18 years of experience and received his Shidoin certificate in 2014. Discounts will be given to families with 3 or more members enrolled as well as those only able to attend once a week. There will be no class on May 28th, July 2nd, July 4th, and September 3rd.
